May not be what people hear… Therefore it’s really important to listen to people, asking probing questions to ensure the intent of your message got across. I’ve seen many people (including myself) fall into the trap of focusing on delivering the method, that we never test to see if it made it across.

    Absolutely! The meaning of your communication is the response you get. Often we’re so intent on conveying a message, that we never end up verifying if it actually went through.
